Bredero Shaw’s
Kuantan, Malaysia facility is strategically located near
the oil and gas fields in Southeast Asia and the shipping
routes in the South China Sea, in order to effectively
service local and international clients in the Malaysian
and international markets.
With over 600,000 m² of plant and pipe storage area
available, the Kuantan facility is the largest pipe coating
facility in the world. The facility is capable of providing
all pipe coating technologies, enabling concurrent execution
of multiple projects and product lines.
The Kuantan facility is located adjacent to Kuantan International
Port, which provides logistical savings and reduces risk
of laybarge downtime and demurrage due to priority berthing.
Bredero Shaw is the industry leader in providing a safe
and healthy workplace. The Kuantan facility has incorporated
the latest technology in HSE practices and improved upon
the quality control systems that are presently in operation. |

Kuantan Port is an All Weather Port with 11.2m
draft and maximum DWT of 45,000MT for general
cargo and 53,000DWT for liquid cargo. It has
725m of multipurpose berth, 400m of container
berth, 1,510m of liquid/chemical berth and 140m
Service Jetty for pipe barges. |
